About The Role

Porsche is looking for a strongly analytical minded Business Analyst to join their Ownership Department who will be providing insight into business performance.
 
This role is based on a hybrid working model, working 3 days a week in Porsche’s modern headquarters situated in Reading and 2 days from home.
 
As the Business Analyst with Porsche, you will be working alongside a team of six department managers with your main responsibilities including:
  • Measuring and reporting on progress against strategic goals
  • Identifying areas of operational weakness and commercial focus
  • Effectively targeting efforts and resources to meet business challenges
  • Support the Porsche Centre network in evaluating and delivering an industry leading customer experience
  • Acting as an internal consultant for analytical and data-heavy projects
  • Using excellent presentation skills to deliver data and business insight to director level for tactical and strategic change
  • Prioritise complex and changeable workload to ensure on-time delivery of critical data and insight
What you’ll do...
  • Support the Director of Ownership in removing barriers, segregated thinking and behaviours across the Ownership sub-teams 
  • Enable thinking and actions that address collective challenges, customer expectations and dealer performance 
  • Assist in identifying the inter-connectedness and reliance that inherently exists across the department and the wider business to inform effective decisions and solutions 
  • Provide reporting that effectively and succinctly shows the performance of the Ownership Department across all functions 
  • The agreed measures should provide transparency of our performance (and the performance of our franchise partners) against our strategic and operational expectations and enable us to apply focus and drive change where required 
  • Provide reporting that effectively and succinctly shows the performance of the Porsche Centre network in the areas of Service and parts (aftersales) 
  • Correct application of data is required to enable accurate planning for the future and ensure the decisions taken in the present are sufficient and appropriate enough to achieve our future ambitions 
  • Create a 2025 and beyond capacity plan at dealer and national level that uses current performance and future volume calculations to determine the physical and human requirements needed in order to maintain our Ownership related performance and meet future demand projections
  • Provide insight at a granular level by dealer and on a national basis of the UK Porsche Service commercial performance to identify trends, weaknesses and enable focused actions to drive sustainable change 
  • Report on the progress and development of key focus areas
  • Identify which customers are the most profitable to PCGB 
  • Use this analysis and the identified target group to focus the department and the wider business on understanding with more clarity their expectations 
  • Facilitate the delivery of a customer experience and marketing message relevant to this most important customer group as the strategic basis for wider Ownership action   
What you’ll need...
  • Highly motivated and able to work with autonomy as well as part of a team with colleagues from different levels and backgrounds across the business
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying, clarifying and tackling problems 
  • Strong PowerPoint skills and attention to detail to translate data into a format suitable for the specific internal audience
  • Highly articulate storyteller able to persuade and convince others using sound insight 
  • Smart professional business-like image and persona which reflects the high values and ideals of the Porsche brand
  • Advanced EXCEL skills, including use of pivot tables
  • Able to extract, clean and analyse internal and external datasets
  • Strong numerical foundation, able to demonstrate and explain correlations, distributions as well as identify the benefits for different approaches to forecasting and pricing 
  • Willingness to learn new tools. There are several CRM, SAP and in-house systems to query, in addition there may be the opportunity to explore BI tools (Qlik)
