About The Role

Role Purpose:

Deliver organisations tagging and tracking requirements, by providing guidance to identify tagging needs, deploying tags and performing testing
Lead on tagging across RAC’s entire digital footprint. Defining requirements, implementation & testing.
Focus on making sure that tagging is to a quality standard and that all the data is being tracked correctly across the company's wider digital real estate.
    • Responsible for tagging across rac.co.uk, APPs and 3rd party websites.
    • Deploy tags across rac.co.uk and 3rd party websites via Ensighten and Google Tag Manager (GTM).
    • Provide framework and guidance to wider technology and digital product teams to self-serve implementation of tags.
    • Support B2B team to implement tags via GTM.
    • Provide requirements, set-up, test and manage tags across rac.co.uk and partner journeys to ensure tracking and data is accurately recorded.
    • Manage the cookie banner via the Ensighten Privacy tool to ensure the rac.co.uk website is compliant to industry standards.
    • Gather requirements from various stakeholders (performance marketing, digital product team, retention team, etc).
    • Proactively develop the tag management roadmap to develop and maintain the tagging solutions.
    • Provide detailed requirements to developer teams to implement code to use in the tagging.
    • Set-up and test tracking tags, debugging issues.
    • Test and sign off user stories in UAT.
    • Raise change requests with IT and publish tags to production environment.
    • Ensure all 3rd party system certificates are updated at the appropriate time.
    • Manage day to day relationships with external suppliers and coordinate with marketing agencies to assist with agency tracking requirements.
    • Provide detailed analytics requirements to developers for new IT projects.
    • Implement and test tracking codes to ensure accurate digital data is recorded.
    • Work with various product owners to understand tagging requirements, through to measurement and reporting.
    • Conduct bi-weekly meetings with Ensighten Account Manager.
    • Provide point of contact for Tag Management contract and ensure timely renewals when required.
    • Manage technical support hours of 3rd party technical resources.
    • Work with various stakeholders from devs, test team, DPO, marketing staff, PMs, 3rd party suppliers, etc.

About You

 
  • A background within Digital Analytics, focusing on Tag Management and Implementation
  • Extensive experience working with Tag Management Platforms such as Ensighten or Google Tag Manager
  • Experience of working with digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or WebTrends
  • Technical knowledge, with a strong understanding of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Familiarity navigating and using browser developer tools such as the elements tab, developer console and network logs.
  • Experience leading Implementation and Integration projects.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and prioritise responsibilities
  • Work efficiently in a fast-pace environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

     

    Qualifications/FSA:

  • Degree educated in a analytics discipline or relevant experience
