About The Role

At RAC we are committed to break down the barriers of today to release the potential of tomorrow, and we are now recruiting for a Reward Manager, to join our team in Walsall, on a full time, permanent basis!

You can expect to support and work closely with the Head of Reward to develop the overarching reward strategy for RAC, ensuring that it is cost effective and market competitive with a purpose of attracting, retaining and motivating colleagues. An opportunity to lead on pay specific activities across the HR colleague Lifecyle and provide advice and support to colleagues at all levels across the wider business.

While this role is usually based in our HQ, Walsall, our teams are currently working from home. While there may be a requirement to be in the office 2 days per week per week from 2022, one thing the pandemic has taught us is the value of embracing hybrid working and we are able to offer some element of flexible working in the longer term.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Head of Reward and Colleague Services in the delivery of ad hoc activities
  • Maintain colleague benefit records using the Reward Administration System (internal databases and external hosted systems)
  • Provide administrative support for all processes including Pay Review and Bonus.
  • Ability to work at pace in a fast and growing organisation.
  • Able to adapt to change with both pace and precision.
  • Provide a professional and effective response service to deal with colleague and manager benefits queries within agreed SLAs
  • Ensure pay administration complies with all reward policies and processes
  • Reconcile monthly payroll reports for payroll linked to pay awards and practices
  • Liaise with external consultants and providers to ensure maintenance around the market position
  • Responding to data enquiries in accordance with policy, drafting communications
  • Address reward and related payroll queries and escalate as appropriate to the Head of Reward & HR Services.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience and a background in the reward and benefits arena including pension administration, job evaluation, benefits and pay review. Experience of working on HR systems (RAC use Resourcelink & Compusource) and an expert with HR/Payroll administration is essential. Numerically agile with strong data management skills, an eye for detail and delivery is must to ensure all task are completed on time. RAC is a fast-paced environment so you must have strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise whilst always providing an exceptional quality of service across the business.
