RAC are on the lookout for a Head of Commercial Propositions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the commercial roadmap, driving customer retention, and maximising business value. You'll take ownership of the Consumer Breakdown portfolio, setting the strategic vision and leading the development of compelling, insight-driven propositions that enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- P&L Ownership: Manage the retention P&L, setting budgets with finance and defining commercial targets.
- Strategic Roadmap & Innovation: Develop a 3-year plan and a 24-month roadmap for Consumer Breakdown, delivering new product innovations to grow volume and value.
- Customer-Led Propositions: Own and optimise the existing customer proposition, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
- Commercial Transformation: Lead the Commercial Transformation Plan, delivering retention-driving propositions that reduce churn and maximise ARPU and LTV.
- End-to-End Delivery: Collaborate with finance, trading, CX, and product teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all propositions meet regulatory standards, including GDPR and PCI requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with senior leaders across the business to drive synergies and maximise commercial impact.
- High-Performance Leadership: Build, lead, and inspire a team to deliver outstanding results.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in commercial proposition development, including new product innovation and in-life management.
- Strong track record in driving commercial performance, trading growth, and delivering high-impact propositions.
- Experience working in consumer retail, subscription/membership-based businesses, or roadside services.
- Expertise in leveraging customer insights, market trends, and competitor analysis to drive decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience delivering change in a matrix organisation.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing key commercial KPIs.
- Inspirational leadership, with a passion for developing and coaching high-performing teams.
