RAC have an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable and proactive individual to join our Marketing Communications department as a Social Media Content Executive. This is an exciting time to join us as we push through the next stage of our growth plans.
This is a hybrid role based from our iconic Bradley Stoke office, so will suit someone who can get to our site in Bristol. Travel to and from filming locations may be required so a full UK driving license is necessary for this role.
As a Social Media Content Executive, you’ll play a key role in developing engaging and creative content for our social media platforms and act as a brand guardian while creating impactful quality social media content.
What you'll do...
Content Creation
- Film, edit, and produce high-quality video and photography content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook & LinkedIn as per our social media strategy
- Create simple static imagery such as text + image overlays or “designed” tiles as required for our social media content plan
- Optimise all content for each platform, ensuring proper formatting, dimensions, and brand representation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and our brand agency to develop proactive content ideas that align with our brand
- Stay informed about social media trends, tools, and technologies to keep content fresh and relevant
Brand Guardianship
- Work with our brand team to maintain a consistent brand voice, style, and aesthetic across all content
- Support the admin side of social media content delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed
We’re looking for someone with:
- 1+ years in a similar role or a portfolio that demonstrates your passion and skills as a graduate.
- A strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Familiarity with basic photo and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut) and an interest in expanding your skillset.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- A degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Filmmaking, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of content best practices for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Stories, along with an understanding of social media strategy and trends.
