This is a Hybrid role – working 2 days a week in the Bradley Stoke office and 3 days working from home
About the Role
As a Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of business targets through effective marketing plans and campaigns across the RAC product range, including Business Breakdown Cover and European Breakdown Cover. Working within the Brand & Communications team, you’ll help shape and execute marketing initiatives that drive engagement, conversion, and ROI.
What you will do
- Campaign Management – Oversee and execute acquisition campaigns across multiple channels, including Email, Direct Mail (DM), SMS, Web, and Contact Centre.
- Budget & Cost Control – Assist in budget management, raise purchase orders, approve estimates, track invoices, and reconcile monthly costs.
- Performance Tracking – Manage campaign costs, track ROI, and analyse MI data to provide insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with suppliers, partners, and internal teams (including senior stakeholders) to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
- Compliance & Brand Alignment – Ensure all customer communications align with ASA guidance, FCA regulations, and data protection laws.
- Creative & Content – Support the Direct Sales Force team with marketing collateral and contribute to creative briefing, copywriting, and editing.
- Continuous Improvement – Evaluate campaign effectiveness, monitor KPIs, and recommend optimisations to enhance performance.
What We’re Looking For
- Marketing experience – At least 1-2 years in a fast-paced consumer business.
- Campaign management expertise – Hands-on experience with end-to-end marketing campaigns.
- Multi-channel proficiency – Experience across email, DM, SMS, Web & App content, SEO, and PR.
- Analytical mindset – Ability to review marketing performance data and translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication skills – Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
- Creative flair – Intuitive, with an eye for compelling creative and a keen attention to detail.
- Highly organised – Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable & proactive – A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Education & Qualifications – A-level standard or equivalent, ideally with a business/marketing qualification. Experience in a regulated environment is preferred but not essential.
